OK, this is my second try at getting this post to work properly…GRRRRRR!!! Don’t ask me what happened, I really don’t know, but I lost all that I had written! I’m taking a de-e-e-ep breath, and starting again…
I can’t believe it’s been a month since I last posted! I have spent hours and hours just watching my baby seramas grow..I know that sounds silly, but it’s true! Out of my Christmas, New Year’s, and January 7 hatches, I have three dozen “entertainers” next to me while I’m at my computer. I have smooth, silkied, and frizzled seramas together, and they are so-o-o cute! I will be putting them outside in the coop at the end of the month, and then they will be ready for new homes. I will be keeping a few for breeding purposes, but the rest will be up for adoption. Let me know if you’d like to be notified when they become available.
I call my silkieds “powderpuffs” and my frizzleds “featherdusters”…I just can’t stop touching them! Today’s video is not good, colorwise (due to the heat lamp), but it should give you a sense of feathers, lots and lots of feathers..so-o-o-o soft! I will be working on bringing new colors into my frizzles on my next hatch this Spring…blue, as well as orange…what fun!
Please let me know when you have birds for adoption.
Thanks
John
Hi, it is good to hear from you and that you are doing well. Would be interested in some of the smooth feathered to go with what I have. I have 2 new hatched out of 6 eggs here but it was very cold still. I know what you mean by just watching your birds.
Bill-
Anything I have will be on my For Sale Page, please keep checking it…I currently have a batch of one-week-olds, I think half are smooth…They should be available in 6-7 weeks, depending on the weather. I will add your name to “the email list” when they become available…Thanks!
Would be interested in frizzled babies if you have more for adoption.
