Here are my breeding roosters, along with their 14 offspring from last week's hatch…they are now 9 days old…I thought it might be interesting to keep a photographic record of the chicks' development, since their color seems to change every few days! The “new” babies are still too young to have their pictures taken (I didn't want to remove them from their infrared light just yet)…I'll try to snap them in a day or two. Actually, it's Erik who's doing the snapping!

Love your chickens n chicks so very gorgeous! Are u selling any??

What exactly are you interested in, grown birds or young birds? I will be selling some birds in the fall…the babies will be available in the fall as well, when the weather has cooled a bit for shipping. Where are you located? I’d be happy to let you know when they are ready…
I do not sell eggs, as the shipping really takes it’s toll on them. Let me know your preferences…

This is a beautiful breed. My daughter in OK caught your web site and I do believe she is ready to add to her small collection of chickens. She had Americanas at one point and Naked Neck (Turken) is the one I know she still has.

I Love the colors of your Serama Juliette, I to raise and sell these beautiful lil birds and was wondering how much your chicks go for, Single and trio, also do you sell young chickens? if so what is your price on them, I am looking to get stock from another breeder at this time.
I do not have any Serama available at the moment, but I will have some this Spring/Summer, since I am starting my incubator up as I type…Please keep checking back!
Juliette,
I visit your site often hoping for updates and hoping all is well with you and your little pixie’s. Your roos are gorgeous! I presently have 2 hens and 4 roos (2 are older) and I enjoy them so much. Could you send me a list of what you presently have for sale and the ones you need to rehome? Thank you! I check in from time to time, I hope to see some 2010 updates 🙂 Take Care!

I am looking for some information on what to expect from two week old serama chicks. We just got three babies yesterday and they don’t seem to move or eat very much, What is appropriate behavior for chicks this age?
Dama-
They should be in a brooder (a Rubbermaid bin) with a red heat lamp on them, temp should be about 85-88 degrees, with no drafts. Chick Starter or Gamebird Starter should be used, after grinding it to a fine powder. They should be moving around, eating and drinking often, and pooping a lot(!). If they are huddled together, they’re probably cold…mixing their ground starter with some water might tempt them to eat more. Also, mash some hard-boiled egg yolk for them, they will love that. It’s extra protein for them and will get them eating and pecking.
